In a world where most stays look the same, PANE was created to be different. Nestled within the lush landscape of Vaksana Farms, PANE is a one-of-a-kind farmstay built almost entirely from reclaimed vintage windows and salvaged wood. What makes it truly special is that the house has no conventional walls. Instead, every side of the structure is formed using carefully sourced antique windows collected from old homes, demolition sites, and architectural salvage yards across Tamil Nadu.
Each window has a different size, shape, colour, and history. Together, they create a living space that feels open, artistic, and deeply connected to nature. PANE is not just a place to stay. It is an experience designed around light, breeze, greenery, and slow living.
A House Built From Stories
Every window at PANE once belonged somewhere else.
Some were rescued from century-old homes. Others were sourced from construction sites before they were discarded. Over several months, we carefully selected, restored, and assembled these forgotten architectural pieces into a space that celebrates craftsmanship and sustainability.
No two windows are alike.
This creates a unique atmosphere where sunlight filters through differently throughout the day, casting beautiful shadows and colours across the interiors. Every corner feels distinct, every frame tells a story, and every stay becomes memorable.

Where Nature Replaces Walls
One of the most beautiful aspects of PANE is its relationship with nature.
Instead of separating guests from the outdoors, the design invites nature inside. Fresh air flows naturally through the structure. Tall trees surround the stay. Morning sunlight fills the rooms, while evenings bring cool breezes and the sounds of birds and insects from the farm.
Guests often spend weekends surrounded by screens, traffic, and noise. At PANE, the experience is intentionally different.
- You wake up to birdsong instead of alarms.
- You enjoy your morning coffee with views of greenery from every angle.
- You spend evenings watching sunlight fade through vintage glass panels rather than scrolling through your phone.
- The result is a stay that feels calming, grounding, and refreshing.
Designed for Slow Living
PANE was created for people who want to pause.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway with friends, a family retreat, a creative escape, or simply a break from city life, the space encourages a slower pace.
- Read a book in a sunlit corner.
- Enjoy long conversations with loved ones.
- Work remotely surrounded by nature.
- Watch the changing patterns of light throughout the day.
- Sometimes the most memorable travel experiences are not about doing more—they are about feeling more present.
Sustainable by Design
At Vaksana Farms, we believe beautiful spaces can also be responsible spaces.
By using reclaimed windows and salvaged materials, PANE gives new life to architectural elements that might otherwise have been discarded. This approach reduces waste while preserving the character, craftsmanship, and history found in older materials.
PANE stands as an example of how thoughtful design can create something extraordinary from what others might overlook.
