Farm Life
Vaksana Farms is a 13-acre natural, organic permaculture farm located in a beautiful, remote, picture-postcard village. Three beautiful farmhouses are set amidst the fruit orchards for people to stay and experience farm life firsthand. You interact with many farm animals: cows, calves, pony, rabbits, dogs & puppies. Two large ponds are filled with rainwater, which is excellent for swimming. The highlight of the stay here is the homely food prepared by 90-year-old Lakshmi Paati and her daughter, 72-year-old Kasthuri Ammal.

Smt.Lakshmi Ammal
Smt.Lakshmi Ammal is the matriarch of Vaksana Farms. She is 90 years old and very active. She is the wife of Late Shri.Rangabashyam, a highly respected and well known leader in the village. Smt.Lakshmi Ammal is a very caring, god-loving person. She loves meeting guests and is especially fond of children. She is a gifted cook and ably assists her daughter, Smt.Kasthuri Ammal, in the kitchen. She loves playing Dhayam and Paramapatham, traditional village board games.
Smt.Kasthuri
Smt.Kasthuri is the only daughter of Smt.Lakshmi Ammal. She is the chief custodian of Vaksana Farms. She takes the lead in the kitchen and cooks for all the guests. She is extremely hardworking, waking up every morning before the crack of dawn to prepare the food. She was born in this village. She is an animal lover and loves tending to cows, pony and dogs. She is an ardent gardener. She adores watching yesteryear tamil movies. She loves to meet all the guests and interact with them.
